  • Playing: Okami ...soooo asian...
  • Eating: sour skittles >.<

well, my summer has mainly been me getting a job at Empire theatres and then working there. I have officially asked them seven times to give me my schedual and finally succeeded in getting some shifts yesterday but have only just realised today that they havn't paid me now. I've decided to wait another two weeks because I'm hoping it was just a simple error, but I really would like my first paycheck please and thank you >.< Anyways I finished reading the Time Traveler's Wife and have concluded that it is AWESOME and I'm now eagerly awaiting the movie to come out. On another note, I am now able to see movies for free so I've already seen Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and was pleasently surprised at how much some of the actors have improved. Over all I think they did a pretty decent job with it, although I'm really pissed off that Ginny was such a stupid character in the movie since she was one of my favorite charecters in the book.... well because I don't have much to do this summer I decided to fill out this film memo.

1. Name (a) film(s) that you have seen more than 10 times (cinema + home).

Sweeney Todd, Across the Universe and various Disney movies.

2. Name a film that you’ve seen multiple times in the cinema.

Spider-man, and the Harry Potter movies. I've seen each atleast twice in theatres.

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a film.

Milo Ventimiglia , although I don't think he's in very many movies..he's more of a T.V. guy..so I guess I'll say the cliché answer of Johnny Deppe...

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a film.

Matthew McConaughey. He has a tendency to appear in crappy movies that I don't like.

5. Name a film that you can and do quote from.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, mainly because my friend and I laughed ourselves silly through out the enitre ending and the movie's become a bit of a joke.

6. Name a film musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.

Sweeney Todd ,Across the Universe and Moulin Rouge.

7. Name a film that you have been known to sing along with.

See above but add in most Disney movies.

8. Name a film that you would recommend everyone see.

All the awesome Disney movies they can find.

9. Name a film that you own.

I randomly own a digimon "movie" with the first three episodes on it..o_O

11. Have you ever seen a film in a drive-in? If so, what?

According to my dad I have, I don't remember which movie but I vaguly remember the experience.

14. Ever walked out of a film?

Well, I was extremly frustrated that I was still swollen from getting my wisdom teeth removed and was not at all in the mood to watch people party and dance for two and a half hours, so I almost walked out of Mama Mia.

15. Name a film that made you cry in the cinema.

Well, I don't cry at movies but I got a little teary during My Sister's Keeper, even though I would have had real tears if they had kept the original ending grrrr.

16. Popcorn?

is unnesassary for me to enjoy a movie regardless of what the comercials tell me.

17. How often do you go to the cinema (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?

about three times a month since I got the job at Empire's (it's now cheaper for me to see it in theatres than to rent movies yay!)

18. What’s the last film you saw in the cinema?

What started out as my dad and I watching the proposal turned into us being lured away from the theatre by the Harry Potter trailer and we "mysteriously" found ourselves in the Harry Potter theatre about ten minutes in...curious...

19. What’s your favourite/preferred genre of film?

books turned into film? it changes alot but the past month I've read alot of books just because the movie was coming out and I wanted to read the book before the movie could ruin the story.

20. What’s the first film you remember seeing in the cinema?

The Rugrats movie. I had an ear infection and was escorted out of the theatre for shreiking very loudly. (I was 4? I think.)

21. What film do you wish you had never seen?

Angels and Demons because I keep picturing the horrific scenes in it at unexpected moments. *shudders*

22. What is the weirdest film you enjoyed?

Well, I do have a strange obsession with Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame...most peoples favorite Disney movie involves a princess or somthing...

23. What is the scariest film you’ve seen?

The Butterfly Effect when I was little.

24. What is the funniest film you’ve seen?

The Hangover =) I saw it twice and laughed just as hard both times.

You hack your way through the jungle and there comes a point where the guide says "get out your cameras. The gorillas are around the corner." I grabbed my sketch book. The guide looked at me like I was an idiot.
